I just came back from Los Angeles, California and managed to spend some time roaming around while I was there for a 2 day training course on Microsoft PerformancePoint Server 2007. On our first night out my friend Vincent and I went to this decent to little Latin/Cuban restaurant called “Ciudad” on Figueroa St. I had a ’soup du jour’ and for my plato principale a Chicken Paella Pepitoria (excellent). On our second night out we went to the “CBS Seafood Restaurant” a chinese place where we clearly ate to much, but managed to walk back safely to our hotel! For our last night out we took a cab to the “The Grove”, we arrived early so we went strolling around the “Farmer’s Market” to do some ‘People Watching’… and when our stomachs started growling we decided to go for some nice Italian food at “La Piazza” – gnocchis were great.
Anyway it was my first time in the City of Angels – I had fun, my stay was quite short but somewhat productive and I hope to have another chance of visiting someday…
