Last Friday I went to see Dream Theater at the Bell Centre in Montreal – What an amazing show it was! Again they completly blew me away, these guys are simply the best musicians on the planet. I especialy liked the modernized version of “Surrounded” with John Petrucci’s guitar playing giving me the chills!, Jordan Rudess came out with is Zen Riffer and memorized us all with is theatrical finger work, James Labrie’s voice was solid, John Myung was in the ‘pocket’ and Mike Portnoy was equal to himself in ‘constant motion’ . Overall an excellent show (as always!) the crowd was in awe and definitely had their money’s worth – I surely did.
